How Do I Setup BitLocker on USB Pen Drive? Step by Step Guide

BitLocker give a security of your data, which provide wide range of protection. If you lose your USB pen drive of any reason, anyone who finds it won’t be able to access the data without the encryption password.
Let’s start the encryption on USB Pen Drive
- You have to attach your Pen Drive on PC
2. Click right and press turn on BitLocker
Encryption process start in a second after selecting the turn on BitLocker option.
3. Next choose the option how much part of USB pen drive you want to encrypt.
Here are two option available password or smart card
Enter password and press “Next” button.
4. BitLocker provide backup key in next step. Just save it a safest place or new drive/external drive.
Here are three option of backup key:-
Look the backup key save as *,txt format
5. Next, select the drive space how much you want encrypt.
6. Choose the encryption mode. Then press “Next”
7. External USB Pen drive encrypt
Wait until process completed.
8. See, the USB pen drive is encrypted.
Suggestion: If you lost your BitLocker password and your data stuck you can use BLR BitLocker Data Recovery Tool to get back your data as well as find your BitLocker key.
